Man camp 2024
Following Jesus is a walk of faith. But sometimes it feels like all we do is stumble and fall, not making much progress. The book of Genesis tells the stories of men who were just like us – they stumbled around a lot, but they experienced the grace of God to get up and keep walking by faith. Through their trials and failures, God made them STEADFAST. And he’ll do the same for us!

About Man camp
Man Camp is the annual gathering of men from the Texas churches of the Great Commission Collective and is hosted by Radiant Church of Austin at nearby Highland Lakes Camp & Conference Center on the shores of Lake Travis. These ample accommodations include bunkhouses, tent camping, RV hookups, and a limited supply of motel-style rooms for double or triple occupancy.
While the goal and high point of Man Camp is encountering God in worship and the teaching of God’s Word, there’s so much more! The games, church competitions, and free time make Man Camp a fun and encouraging getaway. Even the food will be exciting – the MEAT With GodTM BBQ competition will be expanded, and everyone will get to experience the results at dinner on Friday. You really don't want to miss this Man Camp!
Speaker: Ian Hales
We’re excited to welcome Ian Hales as our speaker for Man Camp 2024! Ian is the founding and Lead Pastor of Redemption Church near Toronto in Durham, Ontario. He is known as a passionate preacher of the gospel and a careful Bible teacher.
He has a D.Min. in biblical theology from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and serves as chairman of the board for the Great Commission Collective Canada. He’s been the husband of Sarah for over twenty years and is dad to Karis, Joshua, and Caleb. Besides being an avid reader, he enjoys cycling and playing hockey (a real Canadian!).

MEAT with God™: A Texas BBQ Competition (and dinner!)

accommodations & Pricing
Tent camping
- $130 early/$150 regular.
- Tent campers will have access to the bunkhouse bathrooms & showers.
RV camping
- Everyone in the RV pays the tent camping price, only the RV owner pays the $50 hookup fee
Bunkhouse
- $170 early/$200 regular
- The standard accommodation: lots of bunk beds with large bathroom & showers.
Motel style rooms
- Triple occupancy $190 early/$220 regular; double occupancy $195/$225.
- Each room has private bathroom, one full size bed and twin or bunk beds. Single occupancy is not an option due to limited rooms.
